Thank you for participating in our Spiritual Emotional Wellness discussion and prayer on May 18th. It was a blessing! Many things were revealed.
Foundational scriptures were:
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Psalms 27:13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
What I love about the Bible is it is so relevant. God gives us instruction on how to care for ourselves in the natural and the spiritual.
God acknowledges we can become discouraged even when we are doing good; however, we are to encourage ourselves. Keep our hearts strong.
Even when we can’t keep our hearts strong in our own strength, have faith God will strengthen our hearts to endure and persevere on our journey until our expected end.
More was shared. Prayers were lifted up. We were encouraged to LIVE!
